2. Hosting & Server Logs

When visiting our pages, the server automatically processes log data (server log files):

IP address, date & time of request
URL & referrer URL
Browser & operating system
HTTP status code

Purposes: secure operation, error analysis, prevention of misuse. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR (legitimate interest in stability & security). Retention: log files are automatically deleted/anonymized after a short period.

If you contact us by form or e-mail, we process the information solely to handle your request.

Legal bases: Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual) or Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR (legitimate interest in communication). Retention: until final response or according to statutory retention periods.

4. Cookies & Consent

Our site uses only technically necessary cookies required for function & security. Tracking cookies are only set with your explicit consent. You can change your selection anytime via “Cookie Settings” in the footer.

Legal bases: § 25 TTDSG, Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR (consent) for non-essential cookies; Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR for necessary cookies.

5. Analytics

By default, no personal tracking takes place. If we use privacy-friendly reach measurement (e.g. Matomo with IP anonymization, without cookies), it is only based on Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. No identification of individual users takes place.

6. Third-Party Content

We avoid automatically loading third-party content (e.g. social plugins, external fonts) or integrate them in a privacy-friendly way. If, exceptionally, external content is loaded, we inform you in context and – if required – obtain your consent.

7. Processing & Recipients

For hosting, maintenance and operation we use carefully selected service providers who process personal data exclusively on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR. Transfers to third countries only take place if an adequate level of data protection is ensured (Art. 44 ff. GDPR).

8. Retention

We process personal data only as long as required for the respective purpose or as long as statutory periods apply. Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymized.
